Banswara district has Five(5) Sub Divisions, Five(5) Tehsils, Two(2) Sub-Tehsils and Eight(8) Development Blocks.  Bagidora, Banswara, Garhi, Ghatol & Kushalgarh are Sub Divisions and Tehsils. There are total Eight(8) Development Blocks in the district namely:- Anandpuri, Bagidora, Choti Sarwan, Garhi, Ghatol, Kushalgarh, Sajjangarh & Talwara.

      There are 1516 revenue villages, out of which 1492 are "Abad" and 24 "Gair Abad",  307 Gram Panchayats, 215 Patwar Mandals and 28 ILR Circles in the district.
